MINI EVENTS

Flying Colors Mini Events  ~ Park Benefit

The Park hosts a series of mini-events each year: one in spring, one in summer, and one in fall.   A mini event is a combined training event  - dressage, stadium jumping and crosscountry jumping – condensed to one day. These mini-events are the most important park fund raising activities. Funds raised by the events enable us to make major improvements of the cross country course and stadium jumps, as well as common equestrian areas. The majority of workers at the events are volunteers and all proceeds directly benefit the Park. Competition is offered at four levels: smurf (jump height up to 18”), pre-novice (jump height up to 2’7”), novice (jump height up to 2’11”), and training (jump height up to 3’3”).  We follow USEA, United States Eventing Assoc., rules and procedures however the events are not nationally recognized. The events also offer open dressage competition.
